I'm back
Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at 10:22AM I made it back to Georgia last night, in one piece...but it was tough. Leaving was going to be hard, but I didn't know just how hard until I had to say goodbye to my nephew. He isn't quite two yet but he is becoming a little person. He was more attached to me this time and just kept saying my name as I started to cry. It was rough. The trip in whole was a complete success. I really enjoyed myself, relaxed and was able to completely take my mind off of work and home. I was able to do a lot of really fun things this time and spend quality time with my siblings. My best friend hung out on several occasions and it felt like this was the way it was supposed to be, not the way things actually are.
I've pretty much made up my mind that I want to move back home, now it's just figuring out the logistics of it all. Oh, and Therapist currently has no idea that I have been processing this decision. She'll love that. I have no idea what kind of timetable I am looking at for the move but I know I want it to be within a year. I was driving through Baltimore and was so at peace with everything, I loved being 'Home' and missed the safety of the physical area. My sister and I spent two days walking around Fell's Point and Canton...and the calmness I had was amazing.
I had the pleasure of seeing Coldplay while there, AHHHHH. It was awesome! The band ran through the seating and I was so close it was insane. We had so much fun that night, and I took a ton of video of it. I went to a few Memorial Day gatherings which was also loads of fun and met up with some people I hadn't seen in years. It was strange to be in a place where so many people know me and love me.
Anyway, I have a ton of stuff to do to get ready for the week. See you all soon!
